Dr.
Evan Osar received his bachelor in science and degree
in chiropractic from the Palmer College of Chiropractic.
He has also received a diploma in clinical massage therapy from
the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy and national
certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine
and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Dr.
Osar has dedicated himself to learning not only through self
instruction but by instructing others. He holds a faculty
position at the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy
where he teaches Kinesiology and Clinical Integration and
has authored manuals on functional anatomy and core conditioning.Dr.
Osar is one of the founding board members |
| of
the International Youth Conditioning Association. He has contributed
a chapter on posture and biomechanics for the official textbook
of the International Youth and Conditioning Association and
has helped develop the Level 2 and 3 certifications. Additionally,
he presents lectures for personal trainers and other health
care practitioners. He is the developer of the Fast
and Furious series of seminars focusing on complete core,
hip and shoulder conditioning and is currently working on
the third edition of Form and Function which he is co-authoring
with Dr. Shawn Allen.
He is the founder and president of O.S.A.R. Consulting,
specializing in chiropractic orthopedics, sports medicine,
athletic training and functional rehabilitation. In addition
to his work with the public, Dr. Osar treats professional
athletes as well as members of the Jofferey Ballet of Chicago
and Zephyr dance companies. |

Jenice
Mattek currently runs a highly successful mobile
massage therapy practice specializing in the biomechanical
causes of painful conditions including but not limited to:
athletic and occupational injuries, headaches, shoulder pain,
arm and hand pain in addition to low back pain. For individuals
dealing with stress and tension, she provides wellness and
relaxation massage with focused attention on the head and
neck, hands and feet to help alleviate soft tissue and joint
restrictions to restore relaxation and peace of mind.
Constantly
in touch with the latest science and techniques of massage
therapy, Jenice is an instructor at Soma National School of
Clinical Massage Therapy where she teaches Clinical Massage
Therapy. She is certified as a personal trainer by the National
Academy of Sports Medicine as well as a managing partner and
head of daily operations for O.S.A.R. Consulting. |

| Sara
Fisher holds a BFA with honors in dance from the University
of Iowa and is a certified personal trainer through the American
Council on Exercise. She also holds a perinatal fitness instructor
certification through Healthy Moms Fitness®. While at university,
she began teaching dance classes in the Talented and Gifted
program as well as dance workshops with the university affiliated
Dancers In Company and was founding class president of the Undergraduate
Dance Organization. Since then, she has taught at various studios
in Iowa and Illinois. After graduating, she joined River Dance
Collage as a full company member & soloist and was also
the associate artistic director of River Dance Collage 2. Since
moving to Chicago in 2001, she has performed modern and ballet
works with various companies, including Zephyr Dance, Ballet
Entre Nous, and Tyego to name a few. Sara co-founded Woman Centered
Fitness where she designed and instructed Buggy Babes, an outdoor
stroller class. She has also designed & taught mommy &
me exercise ball classes as well as general fitness classes.
She authored 2 chapters on perinatal fitness in Complete
Program Design: A Guide for the Rest of Us and in March
lectured on perinatal fitness at the Midwest Strength, Conditioning,
& Rehabilitation Symposium. Sara founded Roots in Rhythm
Dance Project andhas choreographed in collaboration with the
internationally charted Bluegrass band Tangleweed. She currently
works with O.S.A.R. Consulting as a personal trainer and is
on faculty at Columbia College and The School of Ballet Chicago,
where she teaches body conditioning and dance classes. She &
her husband have two active young boys at home. Each summer
Sara holds Buggy Bootcamp for
moms. |
