Evan Osar Dr. Evan Osar, President

Dr. Osar specializes in bringing advanced chiropractic and rehabilitation techniques to his patients.

He treats a range of high school, collegiate and professional athletes, including athletes of the NFL and MLB.  He has worked with some of the top professionals dancers in Chicago and is the official chiropractic physician for Zephyr Dance Company.

Dr. Osar received his BS and doctorate degrees from the Palmer College of Chiropractic and a diploma in clinical massage therapy from The Soma National School.  Additionally, he has received numerous national certifications within the fitness industry including American Council on Exercise, National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Osar is also the Founder of Fitness Education Seminars,(www.fitnesseducationseminars.com) a company focused on raising the bar in educational standards for fitness professionals. Dr. Osar presents both nationally and internationally on the topics of health, fitness and corrective exercise. 


 

Jenice Mattek Jenice Mattek, Director

Constantly in touch with the latest science and techniques of fascial release therapy, Jenice currently runs a highly successful fascial release therapy practice specializing in the biomechanical and fascial causes of painful conditions including but not limited to: athletic and occupational injuries, headaches, shoulder pain, visceral, organ, arm and hand pain low back pain in addition to pain that appears unrelated to any injury.

She is also an instructor at Soma National School of Clinical Massage Therapy, a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as a managing partner and head of daily operations for O.S.A.R. Consulting.

Jenice also is Director of Fitness Education Seminars.

Ellen Letten, Therapist

Ellen Letten graduated from the Soma Institute of Chicago where she met Dr. Osar and Jenice Mattek.  Since, that time she has opened The Healing Room, a clinic in which independent massage therapists establish their practices.  Since that time she has helped Dr. Osar with the editing of his functional anatomy manuals as well spent time learing from Dr. Osar and Jenice Mattek.

Ellen spends much of her time with O.S.A.R. Consulting treating patients and clients using fascial release techniques and working with Jenice on independent research studies of fascial release.


Sara Fisher, CPT-ACE, IMS

Dedicated in her study of the body, Sara began her professional career as a dancer but continued on to receive her personal training certification in 2002 from the American Council on Exercise.  Since then she has furthered her study of the body with a certification in perinatal fitness from Healthy Moms Fitness and is currently working on her certification as an Integrated Movement Specialist.  Early on in her career she co-founded Woman Centered Fitness where she designed and taught several fitness classes for women and has since gone on to author 2 chapters on perinatal fitness in Complete Program Design: For the Rest of Us by Evan Osar         (www.fitnesseducationseminars.com).  In 2007 she presented at the Annual Midwest Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation Symposium on perinatal fitness.  Sara is also on faculty at Columbia College Chicago where she teaches body conditioning classes.  Whether teaching group classes or working one-on-one, she helps her clients meet their fitness goals through customized fitness techniques, and when she’s not doing that, Sara is with her husband and 2 boys.
